14.5 million people in Kenya face food insecurities and poor nutrition
And in the error of covid 19 the state has worsened due t loss of jobs and economic instability
35%of the population live on less than $1.90 per day, whereby it’s a income that many now cant afford.
The truth of the matter there is hunger in many household,
Walk in the dumpsites and find many looking for leftovers that have been thrown away
Many single women in the slums survive on temporal and casual jobs of washing clothes in the rich households,in the era of covid 19 ,they lost this opportunities and what happens next? No food on the table for a family with many children.its a challenge and a big problem bit we carry solutions
When we looking for solutions, the near help is to share what we have with our brothers
Your packet of maize flour can ressurrect the hope of a hopeless widow who doesn’t have anything to give to 8 babies in a slum somewhere in Nairobi,or in the most dry rural parts ok Kenya and beyond, everyone livelihood is affected but I believe we can share what we have in our food banks,I believe we are still blessed to become a blessing even in uncertain times
I agree with mahatima Gandhi”to a man with an empty stomach food is God”
It’s means give someone who is hungry food and he/ she will feel God remembrance and love
Love your neighbor as you love yourself
